Nose

A classic example of sweet and smoke: some wet cardboard, a bit of vanilla, lemon peels and seaweed, liquorice, and sea salt.

Palate

First Cheerios and almonds, honey, vanilla pods, and caramel flan. Then bananas and flaky pastry, alongside dark chocolate and wood smoke. There’s a lot going on here.

Finish

Lengthy and warming, with a great earthiness.

Comment

A whisky that just warms you through and makes you stop and really notice. Complex and comforting.
