Nose
Ripe banana and milk chocolate. Somewhat earthy and meaty, with a suggestion of barbeque smoke. Tomato, tamarind and Worcestershire sauce, with cedar and pipe tobacco. Petrichor and wood bark.
Palate
Medium. Cinnamon and cherry, blackberry jam, damson plum, brown sugar and maple syrup. Milk chocolate and toffee.
Finish
Long, sweet and subtly smoky.

An unusual rye with lots to like. It’s fruity, sweet and savoury.
