Tasting Notes

Nose

Mineralic, wet clay, freshly mixed cement, and limestone gravel dust. Slightly metallic, with a trace of a sweet vegetal aroma. Honeyed root vegetables with hints of smoked lavender and rosemary.

Palate

Very light bodied and sweeter than expected. Initially sugary, like candy sticks, with hints of vanilla gingernut biscuits.

Finish

White pepper with a mild ginger spiciness, and dried rosemary in the medium-length finish.

Comment

A little unrefined around the edges, but with an intriguing earthiness.
