Nose

Buttery toffee, sweet and salted popcorn, and caramelised pecans. Flashes of baking spice and white pepper. Vanilla-custard pastry slice and sugary cooked apples. A hint of just-ripe peach.

Palate

Light bodied, but buttery. More custard slice with golden syrup, cinnamon, allspice, brioche, and roasted peach. The syrup from tinned pears. Hints of banana and pithy lemon. Gentle floral notes.

Finish

Medium. Toasted brioche and candied peel with a little nuttiness.

A very easy-drinking and approachable malt.
