A perfectly nice dram that isn’t going to set the world on fire, but is very drinkable indeed.

Nose: A well rounded nose which gives lavender, honeysuckle, heather and vanilla. The oak tickles the spirit to leave a good partnership on the aroma.
Palate: Elements of frozen red berries, white chocolate, more vanilla and blackcurrant leaves. Smooth and very easy to drink. Improved with a dash of water.
Finish: Vanilla milkshake hits hard on the finish, with more of the red berries too.
Comment: A perfectly nice dram that isn’t going to set the world on fire, but is very drinkable indeed.

Nose: Aromatic, sweet barley and vanilla oak. Pleasantly fruity with banana, apricot, greengage, thyme, grass and citrus. With time an almost grainy Pot Still-like note appears.
Palate: Crisper and fresher to begin with, followed by the fleshy apricot, apple, banana and a touch of honey which fills it out. Beautifully balanced with hints of lime and crunchy barley. \n
Finish: Good crisp, citric and mineral finish with lingering sweet barley, herbs and oak.\n
Comment: Poised, elegant and very well balanced. A lovely drop of the Irish as they say.
Score: 8.7
