Nose: Another youngster. Wet wool and fresh pears. The inside of film cannisters. A salty edge lurks.
Palate: A pear like sweetness once you get past the alcohol. Some smoke lurks\rwith vanilla pods.
Finish: Crisp and drying.
Comment: A refreshing whisky but needs water.
Score: 7.5
Taster
Nose: Sharp and tangy. Phenolic. Creosote. Grassy. Lemon balm, drying hay. A touch of aniseed. Vanilla slowly swirls up. A briny hint.
Palate: Sweet at first but the alcohol bite sweeps it up. Minty and smoky. Barley sugar. Pear drop with water.
Finish: Swiftly vanishing but clean.
Comment: A thirst quenching dram. Too harsh neat. A good dash of water tames it.\rObviously young. But structured.
Score: 7.8
