Nose

Wowsers, that’s interesting. Wholemeal crackers, toasted sourdough bread. Green olives and aubergine. Massively herbal, earthy, with sage and bay leaves. Pine needles. I’m lost in the woods.

Palate

Toasted notes, with walnuts and hazelnuts. Dark chocolate and damsons and elderberry. Wheat, light spices. Sun-dried tomatoes. Peppermint, and oak. Redcurrants.

Finish

Long, chewy, nutty and nutmeg,. The mint continues, with traces of black tea.
