Nose

Takes a little time in the glass before there’s some dark liquorice, dusty oak, dried fig, geranium, and lemon verbena.

Palate

At first some chocolate (Maltesers), then blackberries and cream, fudge, gentle wood spice, cinnamon stick, and cloves.

Finish

Medium length, but leaves mostly the taste of alcohol behind and a bit of wood tannin.

Comment

Pleasant and warming, good oak integration on palate. Finish leaves it lacking a little bit.
