Sweet if not sugary. Too much of these artificially flavouring candy notes.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Nutty but soon comes a note of stale pear, partly covered by a heady floral aroma Hyacinth? A dusty note again.

Palate: Crisp. Dry with a touch of astringency but acceptable. What we call in French “bonbon anglais”, sort of pear drop. Very confectionery-like.

Finish: Sweet, round. Soft spices.

Comment: Sweet if not sugary. Too much of these artificially flavouring candy notes.

Score: 7.2

Taster

Nose: Has a slight off note, adustiness that becomes quite nutty. Actually a little like the inside of 35mm film cases.

Palate: Sweet like a hard boiled sweetie, powder coated then fruit comes through.

Finish: Sweet again but well balanced.

Comment: A little sweet, but not quite at the cloying end of the scale.
