Really is like being pelted with fruit, one after another. Great fun and will take a little water to ease the ABV.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Like being attacked with a fruit salad, followed by an orchard and then by a bramble bush. It is fruity indeed. There are little tart spikes from red currants and warming butter notes mixed with clotted cream.

Palate: Just when you thought you had enough of fruit, there’s more. Layers of blackberry compote, apple pie and cinnamon, those rhubarb and custard hard sweets and lemon sherbet all clamour for a taste bud.

Finish: That lemon sherbet fizziness dries out slowly leaving apple and caramel traces behind.

Comment: Really is like being pelted with fruit, one after another. Great fun and will take a little water to ease the ABV.

Taster

Nose: A pastry chef’s dream: all toasted oak, vanilla, warming baking spices and a steaming apple and sultana strudel encased in caramelised, sugar-crusted pastry. There’s a side-helping of whipped and airy chocolate mousse to boot.

Palate: Sweet shortcrust pastry and those soft, warming oak spices again that shower over a creamy sea of white chocolate, fluffy red apple and fresh fig.

Finish: Chocolate mousse and pastry with a touch of dryness. Beautiful.

Comment: One to satisfy those with a sweet tooth.
