Nose

A big hit of Islay. Salt, seaweed and Germolene. Also a newly-opened cigarette packet.

Palate

Sweet, fruity, developing wood smoke, spice, mixed herbs and bonfire embers. Carbolic soap.

Finish

Citrus fruit, sweet peat, pepper and medicine chests.

Comment

A complex yet approachable Islay.
