Taster

Nose: Rice Krispies with powdered sugar, sweet potato fries and paprika. Cornbread with honey butter, fresh sheets, melon rind, orange juice. Treacle cake, a little cinnamon spices with cloves and papaya.

Palate: Sweet all the way, plenty of cinnamon spice. Pancakes and maple syrup. Spun sugar. Chocolate orange segments. There’s peach too.

Finish: Runny honey and chilli flakes, almost leaves the mouth on fire and still peachy.

Comment: Reminiscent of eating honey sandwiches in a peach grove.

Score: 8.2

Taster

Nose: Fruit packed with watermelon, soft red apples, mango and dried cranberries with hints of cream cheese, brioche and minty peas creating a fresh and fragrant conclusion to the nose.

Palate: Fragrant notes of spearmint, Puréed cauliflower and cheddar followed by a sharp bitterness with pink grapefruit, over-stewed tea leaves and chamomile.

Finish: Short finish with a dry chalky texture.

Comment: A chalky whisky that leaves you salivating for more. Fruity, fragrant and a little bitter.
