Nose

Crispy bacon rashers, slightly waxy like beeswax, polished oak and damp tweed. Gentle smoke lurks, distant wood fires. Toasted linseed bread with bitter orange marmalade.

Palate

That wood smoke unfurls. A sauna – warm, damp cedar wood and birchwood smoke. Underneath fruits, red berries and blackcurrants.

Finish

Long and delicately smoked, with a slight bacon fattiness to it.
