Nose

A nice sweet, biscuity nose with just a touch of something earthy. Lots of buttery shortbread and sweet lobsters in butter.

Palate

Vanilla, lemon, custard, honey, and just a touch of salty smoke.

Finish

A good bit of spice with some gentle lasting smokiness.

Comment

This for me is a food whisky — I want to pair it with a big plate of seafood while watching the waves crash against the rocks on Islay.
