Nose

Hot, sawn oak and Virginia tobacco. Cinder toffee, cedarwood, chicory and Luxardo Maraschino liqueur (sour cherry, almond, slightly earthy). Subtle pine sap.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Hot and concentrated flavours of blackcurrant cordial, black cherry and spearmint leaf, with a slight earthiness. Some minerality, as flintiness. Lingonberry and very faint dill.

Finish

Medium. The intense berry and cool mint leaf notes linger.

Comment

Quite boisterous, but solid flavours within.
