Nose

Malty with a distinctive toffee character. Toffee apples, pears topped with evaporated milk fudge. Very pastry like. Crème brûlée. Sweet and round.

Palate

Sweet at first, followed by a spice burst. Ginger ale, fizzy lemonade. White pepper.

Finish

Dry and spicy.

Comment

The nose is sweeter than the palate but this is a well structured dram. Water kills it though.
