Nose

At first, buttery warm bread, then some dry hay and cinnamon — not spicy in particular, just the sweet and warming aroma you get from Ceylon cinnamon sticks.

Palate

A fairly soft palate, not quite what I was expecting from the nose. Rounded and very gentle. A little bit of watered-down toffee.

Finish

Not terribly long, fades into a fairly woody end note.

Comment

An intriguing nose but I was left a bit wanting on the palate which wasn’t as robust as expected.
