An interesting malt, with plenty to say, but restrained and balanced.

Republic of Ireland
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Creamy background aroma. Honeydew melon. Garden mint. Grass. Touch of peat.
Palate: Smooth, substantial, malty background. Biscuity, peachy, malt flavours.
Finish: Perfumy, lemony, tasty, smoky.
Comment: An interesting malt, with plenty to say, but restrained and balanced.
Nose: Under-ripe, fresh cut apples vie with lemony citrus tones for top billing.
Palate: No bold statements here: whispers and hints of juicy melons, the most delightful of grassy malts.
Finish: Almost apologetic spice plays with the increasing oak and intensifying toffee-barley.
Comment: Unquestionably the finest non-peated offering direct from Cooley Distillery yet. A judicious choice of casks ensures sublime sophistication.
