Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: There's some alcohol, but the whisky's gone missing.

Palate: Sweet and some heat from alcohol. If you look hard enough there's some meaty notes.

Finish: Quick.

Comment: Poor.

Taster

Nose: Flowery, vegetal, piney.

Palate: Green flavours. Refreshing. Tingly.

Finish: Tingly. Warming.

Comment: Extraordinarily pale colour. The floweriness was perhaps a hint at Mortlach but, if I were served this out of context, would I recognise it as whisky? I might guess at aquavit rather than usquebaugh.
