Spicy, big and bold. Water helps it find its more refined edges and also lengthens the spice notes out.

Nose: Autumn leaves, honey and toasted, crispy crumpets. A little curry leaf too. Record sleeves. A touch of minerality too, that leafy note moves around from good matured mulch to fresh spring sap.
Palate: Sweet and rich, creamy with plenty of oak coming through at first. Some cooked and stewed fruits. A gentle salami spice note.
Finish: Milk chocolate and chilli spice, Quite mouth watering.
Comment: Spicy, big and bold. Water helps it find its more refined edges and also lengthens the spice notes out.

Taster
Nose: Rum and raisin ice cream, vanilla custard. Cinnamon spice and a rich vibrant berry compote. Faint hints of stewed pears.
Palate: Beautifully coating, oily mouthfeel that offers sweet caramel and a forward red berry note. Becomes a little vegetal and green. Water dials down the punchiness, the nose with vanilla coming through.
Finish: Herbal, more than you'd of expected. Water makes the caramel linger.
Comment: Well worth a drop of water, which just draws everything out nicely.
Score: 7.9
