Nose

Smoky, but not overly so. The peat is soothing.

Palate

Pretty young for a Springbank and there is a slight coarseness amid the malt.

Finish

Remains peppery and peaty.

Comment

Enjoyable, but ideally needs another five years to smooth the rough edges.
