Nose

Barbecuing chicken with garlic and herb butter. Earthy notes. Cheese and pineapple sticks. Melted white chocolate. Heathery honey. Coriander and caraway seeds. Parma Violets.

Palate

Medium, mouth-filling. A fruitcake richness, with barbecue coals and smoked herbs. Diluted elderflower cordial. Candied citrus peel. Honey and Greek yoghurt with toasted almonds. Stewed plum.

Finish

Long. Almond sponge cake, lemon sorbet, and gentle smoke.

A well-balanced palette of flavours that I’d happily keep diving into.
