Nose: Dried mango, papaya juice, dragonfruit and raisin. Dark chocolate and filter coffee. Overripe (bruised) strawberry and ripe plum.
Palate: Concentrated fruit flavour of ripe nectarine, mango, and cantaloupe. A touch of sweet balsamic and sweet red pepper. Evocative of an old marsala. Lots of milk chocolate, with some background herbaceousness.
Finish: Long. The ripe plum note persists.
Comment: Has a nice balance of chocolate and tropical notes – like a fusion-cuisine dessert.
