Nose

Cooked apple and a little lemon meringue pie. A hint of fondant icing. Porridge oats and honey, flapjack-like. Some delicate floral notes and a hint of underripe plum.

Palate

Light bodied. Sweet pear juice and buttery oat crumble with a hint of juicy red apple. Hints of ground ginger and mace. Sesame-seeded bread rolls. Floral honey and roasted peanut.

Finish

Medium. A little more savoury, with mace, gentle sesame seed, and fennel tops.

A tasty little whisky with lots of potential.
