Nose

Brightly perfumed, lime and cedar. Seaweed. Amber, oriental spices. Sandalwood. Really unusual! Citrus and toffee; salted caramel. Wholemeal bread.

Palate

Citrus, vanilla, buttermilk – sunflower oil. Digestive biscuits, hops and grassy, with the wholemeal bread returning. The flavours vanish quickly though. A grapefruit acidity unbalances it.

Finish

A bit short, a bit bland too. Mealy, with a woody bitterness.

Comment

That nose was something quite exotic; the taste not so.
