Nose

Apricots and peaches, a little cream and orange zest. There’s some lemon sponge cake too and even some strawberries in there.

Palate

At first, a big whack of lemon Fanta, then a touch of ashy smoke, honeysuckle, and Victoria sponge. With water, it naturally softens and becomes a little oilier, with some notes of cherry cough syrup added into the mix.

Finish

Earthy and drying, with a vanilla sweetness.

Comment

Really delicious. Very punchy without water but relaxes into a well-balanced and complex little whisky.
