Nose

A fruity nose, grape and smoke notes.

Palate

Firm body with oaky centre which starts vanilla-sweet but bitter-out.

Finish

Quite dry and even a little smoky. The fruit remains but time has dulled specific notes. Some malt does fight through.

Comment

A much subtler dram than it first appears that thoroughly rewards regular investigation. Tasty and teasing.
