Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Clean and slightly nutty with a distinct custardy note.Clean washing, gentle rose/sweet pea. With water a little green freshness, broom and brown sugar. Teasingly soft and probably has good age on it.

Palate: Almond to start, then banana and nuts. Tongue-coating. Vanilla, even a little condensed milk. Water brings out asun-tan/coconut note.

Finish: Mashed banana and ginger.

Comment: Lots of cask influence but it is balanced. Recommended.

Taster

Nose: Autumnal aromatic profile. Cider, apple juice, hint of quince, wet soil, raw chestnut. Then some citrus fruit. Orange marmalade. Grapefruit peel.

Palate: The same autumnal display. Orange and pumpkin flan. Pears poached in a spicy syrup. Very fizzy. Spices dance on the tongue. Warm.

Finish: Dry, spicy, tingling.

Comment: Adram for a rainy day in November. A bit hot but comforting and rich. Better with water.
