I prefer to dilute this one as it smoothes off the edges.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Warming and floral, light toffee notes, white chocolate, honey and lemon.

Palate: More chocolate but this time it’s milk chocolate, some dried fruit and a little spice, waters smoothes out the flavours and brings out more lemon and honey.

Finish: Supple honey on the tongue.

Comment: I prefer to dilute this one as it smoothes off the edges.

Score: 7.2

Taster

Nose: Gentle and full of honey, flying saucer sherbet sweets, soft fruits, peach, apricots and strawberries. Sweet popped corn. A herbal note, Swiss lozenges and toasted marshmallows.

Palate: Big and oily, coating honey and a waxy lushness. Tropical fruits, mango and watermelon. Some savoury notes come through, with an autumn leaf mulch.

Finish: Swift and drying on gentle spices.

Comment: Simply lovely and a great restorative dram. Pre or post dinner, it’s going to please most people’s palates.
