This is a beautiful example of the delicacy and subtlety you can find in a Lowland whisky – I love this.

Taster

Nose: Intriguing fresh notes of greengages and gooseberry fool. Fresh sawdust of pine wood. Pastry case and then fattens up with water.

Palate: It was cooling at first, elderflower and gooseberry sorbet. Then it became warmer with cinnamon, bark, mace.

Finish: Beautifully balanced with a juicy spice.

Comment: This is a beautiful example of the delicacy and subtlety you can find in a Lowland whisky – I love this.

Taster

Nose: Grassy. Floral. Wet grass. Wall flowers. Lemon balm. A hint of lemon juice. All subtle and light. With water, more on the cereal side.

Palate: Smooth and silky. Delicate, fresh. Star anise, lemonade. Getting more citrussy especially with a dash of water.

Finish: Medium, almondy as well.

Comment: A light and delicate dram, one of those I call whispering. A very refreshing and relaxing dram.
