Nose
Intriguing fresh notes of greengages and gooseberry fool. Fresh sawdust of pine wood. Pastry case and then fattens up with water.
Palate
It was cooling at first, elderflower and gooseberry sorbet. Then it became warmer with cinnamon, bark, mace.
Finish
Beautifully balanced with a juicy spice.
Comment
This is a beautiful example of the delicacy and subtlety you can find in a Lowland whisky – I love this.
