Taster

Nose: Floral. Rose syrup, peony. Opens on fruity notes. Sour apple compote with a buttery touch. Getting sweeter. Vanilla syrup. Butter biscuits.

Palate: Smooth and sweet but the alcohol gives a fizzy sensation at mid palate. Good balance. The same floral character. Turkish delight, hibiscus tea. Pears in syrup. Water brings out spices and astringency.Dry and dusty.

Finish: Dry and dusty.

Comment: An interesting floral character but not a wide aromatic palate.

Score: 7.7

Taster

Nose: Fruity but with a sourdough bread note. Shortbread biscuits. Some floral notes, rosehip tea. Golden syrup and vanilla waffles.

Palate: Sweet vanilla then a good hit of cinnamon spice. Poached pears and an acetone note. Rose water. Dusty spices, cinnamon buns. Has a nice oak bite too.

Finish: Short and drying with that acetone (pear drop) note coming through nicely.

Comment: Good stuff and water helps release more spices.
