Like a smoked margarita.
No age statement
Nose: Delicate peat and heavy spirit. Wet wool and more vanilla.
Palate: Smoke, a dying BBQ, red cherry cola, rooibos tea, mint leaves and lime juice.
Finish: Coal dust and lime juice; almost Mezcal like.
Comment: Like a smoked margarita.
Nose: Resinous, perfumy. Sun warmed pine needles. Vetiver. Quite an unusual aromatic profile. Enticing though. Charcoaled beef. Thyme.
Palate: Silky. Malty and fruity. Pears poached in a cinnamon syrup. Barley wine. A hint of green apples.
Finish: Sweet and crisp, soothing on a delicate nutty aftertaste.
Comment: A surprising balsamic profile. I was more intrigued by the nose than the palate. I would avoid water.
