Taster

Nose: Floral, delicate. Freesia, bluebells. Elderflower. Rich fruit. Apricot with \rcustard. Rosemary.

Palate: Very smooth and mouth coating. Nearly velvety. Malty. Green apple, touch of Szechuan pepper. It is more the skin of a Granny Smith and even the pip. Incredibly smooth. The alcohol is completely tamed. A fresh aniseed flavour in the back.

Finish: Not very long but clean.

Comment: A pleasant cordial, fresh and well balanced. Water kills it.

Taster

Nose: Quite closed, but with time the reward is brandy butter and blackcurrant bush.

Palate: Ghee, chicken korma, hot butter crumpet and smoke.\r

Finish: Earth and hot butter.

Comment: Nice and rich, but (like us all) it could be richer.

Score: 8.7
