Taster

Nose: Rich, deep, complex. The nose reminds the one of Reference Series I but with more depth, probably an older whisky. Oaky profile, sap, saw dust. That balsamic resinous note. Orange blossom honey. Milk chocolate with raisins.

Palate: A silky feel but more of raw silk than smooth. Delicious crispiness. The palate delivers all the promises of the nose, culminating in a spicy outburst.

Finish: Warm and lingering with a dry spicy character.

Comment: A bold character with a confident complexity.

Taster

Nose: Chocolate digestive biscuits. Belgian waffles. Banana pancakes and ripe plums combine for a wonderfully rich nose.

Palate: Honey, a hint of earthen floor, Damson jam and light BBQ tones are the result of an oily, rich palate.

Finish: Spices of nutmeg, cinnamon and a hint of fennel round off a super dram.

Comment: Warm waffles drizzled in runny honey. Excellent stuff.
