Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Slightly raw note: crisp and sappily green, lead pencils. There's also a tarry note that reminds me of Pontefract cakes.

Palate: Sweet and malty with raspberry, but overall pretty hard and young. The spirit seems concentrated, still sleeping.

Finish: Sweet.

Comment: Concentrated and tense, a little immature.

Score: 6.8

Taster

Nose: Aromatic. Honeyish. Flowery, with a slightly sharp, herbal, dryness.

Palate: Orangey. Developing suggestions of toasted coconut and cedary notes.

Finish: Oily dryness. Warming.

Comment: Pleasant. Could be slightly rounder.
