Nose
A big waft of aromas straight out of the gate: waxy wood polish, honey, red fruits (dehydrated raspberries and strawberries — really concentrated), then a touch of Sprite and malt.
Palate
Sweet and sour — again, Sprite; it’s almost fizzy. Then some sweaty pineapple, with a touch of cantaloupe melon, and some fennel seeds.
Finish
Medium length, with notes of sugar water and cloves.
Comment
A bright, bold, sassy whisky that keeps pulling me back in. Can’t quite make sense of it but I’m left intrigued.
