Softness and subtlety is underrated these days, but can be more complex as any big old bruiser.
Murray McDavid Mission
Nose: Gentle and floral, apple (fruit/blossom), heather, pear, raspberry, chocolate. Sweet oak.
Palate: Soft start, a burst of sweetness with gentle waves of flavour: flowers, nutty oak, malt, dried grasses and orchard fruits. Subtle and balanced.
Finish: Complex, nutty.
Comment: Softness and subtlety is underrated these days, but can be more complex as any big old bruiser.
Nose: Flowery. Camomile.
Palate: Creamy Flowery. Pollen-like. Dusty. Perfumy.
Finish: Sweet lemons.
Comment: The most feminine Glenlivet I have encountered.
