Nose

Apple, strawberry, kiwi, and raspberry. Brioche French toast, icing sugar, and brandy snap. Slightly burnt wholewheat toast, honeyed granola with skimmed milk, and a little hazelnut butter.

Palate

Medium. Mocha sponge cake. A hint of unlit tobacco. Freshly made strawberry jam, black cherry, and damson. Hazelnut praline. Black tea and condensed milk. Freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Finish

Long. Blackcurrant crumble, and a sweet barbecue-smoke note like jerk chicken.

This revealed a darker side that I enjoyed exploring.
