Nose: Big, bold, plenty of sweetness up front. Chilli-coated corn kernels, grilled pineapple, glacé cherries and slices of orange with some crunchy brown sugar.
Palate: All those fruit notes come flooding in, sweet and syrupy. Mango flesh, passionfruit and strawberries with balsamic vinegar and cracked black pepper.
Finish: Keeps on going, all those juicy fruits hanging around, nothing wrong with that.
Comment: A full-on fruit salad in a glass. Well balanced and hits the spot nicely.

Taster
Nose: Brown bread toasting over a charcoal grill, Camp coffee and butterscotch sauce over hot chocolate cake. Lots of milk chocolate and peanut, with cinnamon. A hint of orange zest and bergamot.
Palate: There’s blackcurrants and dark chocolate, toffee and coffee liqueur, gingerbread, nutmeg and cherry brandy. A hint of Earl Grey tea. The spices are balanced by black treacle and candied orange.
Finish: Gently drying as the spice wafts away.
Comment: You’d never guess this was 50%. Another, please!
