Nose

Lily pollen, gentian, violin rosin and pine needles. Tea tree oil and calendula. Golden syrup, candied orange and gingerbread. Candied citrus peels and brandy-soaked raisins. Potpourri.

Palate

Medium. Floral. Orange and raspberry sherbet, parma violet, toffee apple, blackcurrant wine gums, caramel and Turkish delight. Cinnamon and nutmeg, too.

Finish

Long, on Turkish delight.

Comment

Floral and delicately spicy. Unexpectedly heady for the style but complex and well put-together.
