Taster

Nose: Perfumy. Again vetiver, galangal, sandalwood. Opening on chocolate.\rRich, dense, complex. Has hints of fading rose.

Palate: Crisp and dry. Immediate oak but integrated with dried fruit. Dates,\rsultanas. Chocolate toffee. Caramelised apples.

Finish: Dry, slightly astringent.

Comment: Another bourbon? A bit austere but elegant and complex. I found more\rpleasure on nosing than tasting.

Taster

Nose: Heavily perfumed with dark treacle notes, burnt sugars. Some floral notes.\rA dry almost bitter wood note.

Palate: That oaky note comes through but there is a herbal edge as well, almost\rmint. Those treacle notes and more bittersweet wood notes simply add\rto the layers.

Finish: Dry and herbal.

Comment: Different for a bourbon in a good balanced way. One for\rlate night nightcaps.
