Nose
Rich and robust.Fruit cake richness, a hint of fireworks, rib of beef, hint of rosin. Layered and complex with masses of integrated oak extract balanced by the fact this is a weighty spirit. Opens and sweetens with water.
Palate
Big and tannic, but there’s also a sweet note of toffee, coffee, Dundee cake, and ripe black fruits. Powerful with great balance.
Finish
Treacle. Long and surprisingly sweet.
Comment
The beast of Dufftown does it again.
