Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Very pale, suggesting immaturity, something which the nose confirms: it’s all putty/Play-Doh and alcohol. The aroma is improved with water where a lifted estery aroma is brought out.

Palate: Plain and very clean, but lacks structure and any depth.

Finish: Sweet and a little short.

Comment: For completists only.

Taster

Nose: Light, floral. Orange blossom. A delicate aniseed note which gives the nose a pleasant tonicity.

Palate: Sweet, light, flowing. Grassy. Lemon balm. Garden mint. Dill. A lovely herbal tea.

Finish: Lingering, sweet and pleasantly spicy.

Comment: A lovely dram.Perky and tonic but in a delicate way. Perfect to greet spring when it comes.
