Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Opens with a rye flour note. On the spicy side of the fence. Water brings a fragrant note into play: rose petals.

Palate: Very perfumed, almost artificially so. Roses and violets. Intense and slightly overwhelming.

Finish: Vanilla.

Comment: Like sitting in a bar next to a gent who has overdone the aftershave.

Score: 7

Taster

Nose: Maple syrup. Pancakes. Brown sugar.

Palate: Light to medium. Rounded. Garden mint. Herbal. Leafy. Grass especially. Remarkably so.

Finish: Very sweet, but refreshing.

Comment: The body is well rounded, but the flavours less so.
