Tropical and delightful, this has little reminders of childhood, like eating lemon curd from the jar.

Nose: Light runny honey with oatcakes, fresh daffodils and a box of leather gloves with crumbled newspapers. Old books.
Palate: Sweet and fruity, all the tropical fruit in the salad with some whipped cream for good measure.
Finish: Swift with hints of mango kulfi and lemon curd sandwiches.
Comment: Tropical and delightful, this has little reminders of childhood, like eating lemon curd from the jar.

Taster
Nose: Things start out delicate and perfumed, with aromas of honey, dried citrus peel and Weetabix. It develops a more tropical fruitiness, all grapefruit juice and honeydew melon.
Palate: Cereal-driven with honey-drenched fresh fruit: melon, lime and grapefruit zest. A playful spiciness develops across the mid-palate alongside a slight tannic grip.
Finish: More sweet melons, crunchy malt and cinnamon spice.
Comment: The balance between the cereal and fruitiness, with a measured cask influence, is spot on.
Score: 8.6
