More distillery character than a 15 Years Old identified as 'sherry-aged'
15 Years Old, Millennium Edition
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Nutty. Broom. Vanilla.
Palate: Clean, sweet, nutty, sherry, honey. Oily.
Finish: Peat-smoke and salt. Very long. Therapeutic.
Comment: More distillery character than a 15 Years Old identified as 'sherry-aged'
Nose: Highly perfumed, a heady infusion of sweet bourbony drier herbal notes.
Palate: Big oak kick dominates over roast malt and spices.
Finish: Sweet vanilla towards finish, some hickory lingers with the oak.
Comment: Tastes a lot older than its 15 years and has lost a lot of character due to slight over maturation.
