Nose
Rich with honey/wax, dried fruit and a savoury/sulphury note. There's damp chamois leather and oilskins. Some oak as well.
Palate
Big, (make that BIG) thick and oily. Coats the mouth with robust savoury/sweet flavours, chestnut honey, wax and layered fruit/fruitcake.
Finish
Tingling, long with treacle toffee and oak.
Comment
Like all Pulteneys this is all about texture and weight. A lovely big hairy bear of a dram.
