Tasting Notes

Nose

Oaky. Obvious sherry influence. Walnut stain. Peppery. Dark chocolate.Marasquino cherry. Liquorice. Touch of humus.

Palate

Crisp and slightly harsh. Oak prevails, hence a grippy sensation. Beeswax.\rChocolate with brandied cherry.

Finish

Dry and astringent.

Comment

The sherry dominates on the oaky side. Too much for me but if you like woody corpulent whiskies, this one is for you.
