The sherry dominates on the oaky side. Too much for me but if you like woody corpulent whiskies, this one is for you.

Taster
Nose: Caramalised apples with cinnamon crunch, Dime bars, ploughed earth. Sort of an oily edge, wax or leather jackets. Riding boots. Roast pineapple and sweet chilli.
Palate: Bitter oak up front with that caramalised apple. Then runny honey before the oak spices take grip. Powdered giner and nutmeg.
Finish: Long with ginger.
Comment: Has aged well and retained a certain freshness to it. A sherried delight.
Score: 8.4
