Taster

Nose: Cooked pear/apple, peach, quince, light vanilla pod. Some spice. Slight oilskin note. Fresh.

Palate: Distinct salt spray tingle, lightly nutty. Fresh, chalky but with depth. Very rich central weight. Liqueur Tokay. Plump pulp fruits.

Finish: Tingling, dare I say salty freshness, then spice and the fruit comes back.

Comment: A complex, paradoxical individual for complex individuals.

Score: 8.3

Taster

Nose: Enticing, elegantly fruity. Apple and quince jelly. Barley sugar. Honey syrup. Strawberry shortcake. Sawdust. Oak notes unwind lazily.

Palate: Crisp and clean. Warm straw. Wood and fruit well integrated. Stewed apples and pears, a soft wave of black pepper. Perfectly balanced.

Finish: Drier. Spicy. Sticking to the palate.

Comment: A great combination of complexity and simplicity. A liquid fruit basket. Yummy.
