Tasting Notes

Nose

Earthy. Humus, moss, bracken. Medlars, over ripe quince. Gets creamy. Custard and apple flan.

Palate

Nicely flowing. Sweet and round. Oak is perfectly integrated. Dried apple. Hint of cider. Then some toffee, close to salted butter caramel fudge.

Finish

Round, slightly spicy.

Comment

An outdoor dram which comes back indoors as it opens. For a winter warmer up.
